Here are a few points of interest….

Are you looking for an easy and affordable way to update the interior of your home? You may want to consider new window treatments.  There are a variety of different products to choose from and we offer name brands you will recognize.

What types of treatments are available?

Plantation Shutters

One of the most popular window treatments in Florida is Plantation Shutters.  Ours are made in the USA and we are very proud of that fact.  They are solid material that will not crack, yellow, peel or warp over the years.  By using 3 ½ inch louvers, there is very little loss of view and they can be fully open or fully closed or somewhere in between, allowing light in but maintaining privacy.

Honeycomb & Cellular shades

Honeycomb shades, also referred to as cellular shades, are a good choice if you like your view totally unobstructed.  They stack at the top of the window taking up just a few inches of space.  They come in many fabrics and colors, single pleat, single, double, or triple cell.

Cellular shades add energy efficiency to your home. They help keep your home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.  Their design also provides sound absorption.

For your sliding glass doors, you might choose a Vertiglide, which is a vertical honeycomb (cellular) shade. It provides all the benefits that the horizontal cellular shade does. This shade can be mounted inside or outside the sliding door opening.  One of its best features is that no matter how wide your sliding door is, this shade stacks in just 7 inches!  It can be a one way draw right or left or can be split in the middle if that’s what your door requires.

Solar Shades

Solar shades are great for your lanai area.  These are available in a variety of colors and are very durable in those outdoor locations.  They help hold out the sun and heat and can be light filtering or light blocking depending on how much privacy or sun blocking you’d like.

Draperies and decorative panels

Draperies, decorative panels or cornices add color and warmth to a home.  They can be casual or formal, depending on your décor and style.  They can be used with any of the window treatments we have covered here.

Some of the window treatment brands we carry include but are not limited to the following:

Levolor
